ONLY soldier rehabilitation Department in NORTHERN ISRAEL

Following October 7th, Dr. Ohad Hochman, CEO of Bnai Zion Medical Center and former Chief Medical Officer of the Israeli Navy, inaugurated the sole Soldier Rehabilitation Department in the North.

This facility now enables injured soldiers from Northern Israel to undergo healing either as inpatients or outpatients, allowing them to remain close to their families during both times of conflict and peace.

A hospital within a hospital, this $17 million multi-level underground structure was inaugurated in November 2022, made possible through the collaboration of HFI and a generous contribution from the Iranian American Jewish Federation of New York.

Engineered to endure all forms of warfare including nuclear, biological, and chemical threats, as well as natural disasters, it serves as a critical sanctuary in times of crisis.

Initially operating with basic equipment, your collective support has been instrumental. Since October 7th, over a million dollars has been raised, significantly enhancing its capabilities and impact.
